Kurniawan D. Irianto is an Assistant Professor of Informatics at the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) in Indonesia. He has been joining the Department since 2014. Prior to coming to UII, he spent two years from 2009 to 2011 as a Junior Lecturer at the Department of Informatics, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia. He obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Networks and Performance Engineering from the University of Bradford, UK, in 2013 and completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Indonesia, in 2007.
His primary research interests include Communications and Protocols in Computer Systems and Networks, particularly Mobile and Wireless Networks; Internet of Things; Network Coding; Error Control. He is also interested in field of Computer Vision, Mobile Applications, and UX Research.
